AI overview tracking
AI overview tracking shows which of your pages Google AI Overviews and Bing Copilot cite. LLM Scout is the AI Overviews tracker for that export data, next to prompt-level mentions from ChatGPT and other assistants.

What you upload
Free and paid accounts can bring in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster CSVs. That is first-party AI overview tracking: impressions and citations Google and Bing already count, without a separate enterprise analytics seat.
- Google: generative AI / AI Overviews style rows from Search Console
- Bing: Copilot citations and the queries behind them
- Side by side with the prompts where assistants mention you, or do not
Why this is not the same as LLM tracking
An AI Overviews tracker answers "did search cite my URL?". An AI visibility tool answers "did the assistant recommend my brand?". Buyers use both. A page can earn an Overview citation and still be absent when someone asks ChatGPT for a shortlist.
The longer comparison of SEO and AIO is in Traditional SEO vs AIO.
Questions
- What is AI overview tracking?
- AI overview tracking measures how Google AI Overviews and related AI search features cite your pages. It is separate from whether ChatGPT mentions your brand by name.
- What is an AI Overviews tracker?
- An AI Overviews tracker stores those citations over time: which queries, which pages, and whether competitors are the ones getting the link. LLM Scout reads this from Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster exports you upload.
- Does Search Console replace an AI visibility tool?
- No. Search Console covers Google. Bing covers Copilot. Neither tells you what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity say. Use both.
